As with many other long running series, It's A Knockout grew to become more than just a TV programme. It entered the public consciousness, was a discussion topic at home, school and work, and this interest in the series was reflected in other television programmes. Some reported on IAK, others featured clips, some spoofed the show, while others featured interviews with those involved in the show.
