Sadly, the main Intervilles referee, Robert Wurtz, suffered a
cerebrovascular stroke towards the end of the recording of this programme.
While Wurtz fully recovered over the subsequent weeks and months, his place
was taken by regular Assistant Referee Olivier Allman. As it transpired,
Allman remained as main referee for the remainder of the season. |
