Information |

International Heats 1, 3-10 and the two Semi-Finals of the 2005 Intervilles
International series were each comprised of five games plus the Champions'
Wall finale, the winner of which won the event. One game in each of these
heats was a double points scoring game. Heat 2 and the Final had six games
plus the Champions' Wall and there were no double points games in these two
events. Two games in each event was played in the arena with a cowhide,
specifically the second and fourth games (or second and fifth games in Heat 2
and the Final).
The French team of Pont-Saint-Esprit finished all three runs of
the Champions' Wall before any of their rivals had finished a single climb.
Worse still, despite finishing in 2nd position on the Wall, Russia was
relegated to last place because their competitor used his feet against the
edge to prevent him from falling, which was prohibited in the rules. |
