Additional Information

The seventh team to qualify for Jeux Sans Frontičres was the one that had achieved the highest scoring 4th place of the two heats, and was assigned to International Heat 7 by virtue of a pre-series draw. This year two teams, Baunatal and Walldorf were equal on points, so a ballot was held to decide which of the two teams would qualify. As a result of this ballot, Baunatal was selected to play in the International Series later in the year.
