This 1973 Intervilles Final ended in a draw. The victor was decided
with a tie-break game which involved one competitor from each team lifting a
section of metal crash barrier above their head. The Thiers player crumbled
first, dropping the fencing to the ground, making Anglet the 1973
Intervilles Champions. |
